- Avoid any and all relisting services. From the outside, these seem like a good idea. However, we’ve watched hundreds of customers lose money and more on these scams, and we know that there’s nothing but frustrating waiting for our customers with relisting services. Even the best of them are inefficient.
- If something in the timeshare industry seems too good to be true, it likely is. The timeshare industry is sadly riddled with scams, and many of them have the appearance of being real. The only way to be entirely safe is to go with a trusted company that you know isn’t going to rob you of your money.
- When buying a timeshare, make sure you’re buying it directly from a reputable source. Although scams have mostly switched to the spectrum of fake buyers, there are still fake sellers on the market, and they can still wreak havoc on your finances. Be sure that you’re using a source you can trust with your credit card information.
- Don’t settle. If a company can only give you second rate work, then refuse their business – because first rate is available to you. Your money and business can get you a lot more than shoddy work and frustration, so refuse to settle. Accept only the best.
